Diane brings over 35 years of CPA experience to her role at VRA, but she realized her mission long before that. Having grown up in a family of business owners and entrepreneurs, she’s proud of her heritage, and credits her upbringing for providing her foundation of a tireless work ethic and dedicated professionalism and integrity. 

Diane particularly enjoys working with owners of small to mid-sized companies and making sure that they know that their business is her top priority. Diane’s clients appreciate the personal communication, genuine commitment and attention to detail that she brings to every project.​ Home and family remain the treasures of Diane’s life. She’s proud of her roots, and of her three adult children.​

A graduate of Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT, Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting as well as multiple certifications in bookkeeping and as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.  Diane is a licensed CPA in Connecticut and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA).

Robin brings over thirty years of experience with her to VRA. She has had many roles in her professional career; as bookkeeper, office manager, and tax preparer, and brings with her a wide variety of experience and levels of knowledge. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Upon entering the workforce, she found her niche in the accounting world and discovered her love of numbers and people made this the world she wanted to work in. Robin has experience with multiple accounting software programs such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Team on a user level which enables her to relate to the clients day to day needs with in these programs and makes her a valuable asset to them.  She enjoys the client connection and relationships which allows her to to help them learn and grow in their positions. Care, professionalism and integrity are the cornerstones of Robin’s successful career. 

Robin and Diane have worked together on and off (more on than off) for the last 25 years she is the ying to Diane’s yang. They have developed a strong working relationship and can pick up easily where the other has left off. You will often hear Diane say, “Robin is her right hand and sometimes her left hand too”. 

Robin had owned a house in Maine where she spent many a weekend.  Her love of the ocean is what brought her there, but found the tranquility and peacefulness is what held her there. Her love of the beach also allows her to travel to the islands with her husband Scott where they catch up on the relaxation that we often miss with our busy schedules.
