Diane brings 40 years of CPA experience to her role at VRA, but she realized her mission long before that. Having grown up in a family of business owners and entrepreneurs, she’s proud of her heritage, and credits her upbringing for providing her foundation of a tireless work ethic and dedicated professionalism and integrity. 

Diane particularly enjoys working with owners of small to mid-sized companies and making sure that they know that their business is her top priority. Diane’s clients appreciate the personal communication, genuine commitment and attention to detail that she brings to every project.​ Home and family remain the treasures of Diane’s life. She’s proud of her roots, and of her three adult children.​

A graduate of Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT, Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting as well as multiple certifications in bookkeeping and as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.  Diane is a licensed CPA in Connecticut and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA).

Margaret (Peg) O'Donnell

Peg brings 45 years of experience to VRA. Most of that experience has been spread between large and small accounting firms with an emphasis on tax planning, preparation, and review for both individuals and small businesses. Her focus is to help clients use financial information to make smart decisions for their business and personal lives.

Peg graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in accounting, and then went on to obtain a master’s degree in taxation from Pace University.  She also received an academic honors award from the Financial Executives Institute.  She is an active member of the American Instutute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA).

Peg has a busy life outside of the office.  She and her husband raised three children in Redding, CT and Peg has spent over 20 years in town government, including as town treasurer, board of finance member and, most recently, as a selectperson.

Robin Lee Tessier

Robin brings over 35 years of experience with her to VRA and is an active member of the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA). She has had many roles in her professional career; as bookkeeper, office manager, and tax preparer, and brings with her a wide variety of experience and levels of knowledge. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Upon entering the workforce, she found her niche in the accounting world and discovered her love of numbers and people made this the world she wanted to work in. Robin has experience with multiple accounting software programs such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Team on a user level which enables her to relate to the clients day to day needs with in these programs and makes her a valuable asset to them.  She enjoys the client connection and relationships which allows her to to help them learn and grow in their positions. Care, professionalism and integrity are the cornerstones of Robin’s successful career. 

Robin and Diane have worked together on and off (more on than off) for the last 30 years she is the ying to Diane’s yang. They have developed a strong working relationship and can pick up easily where the other has left off. You will often hear Diane say, “Robin is her right hand and sometimes her left hand too”.
